Hands-on soft-tissue work, part of your chiropractic visit with Dr. Segal
Soft-Tissue Work From Dr. Segal
As part of your chiropractic treatment, Dr. Segal may incorporate hands-on soft-tissue techniques and some massage directly into your visit. For patients recovering from recent car accidents and work injuries — where muscle tightness, spasm, and restricted movement are common and usually more acute — he often spends more time performing massage to help get symptoms under control and aid recovery.
- Improve mobility and range of motion in tight, guarded muscles
- Help decrease muscle spasm following an injury
- Support your overall recovery alongside chiropractic adjustments
This soft-tissue work is a component of your chiropractic visit with Dr. Segal — not a standalone massage appointment. Learn more on our Auto Injuries or Work Injuries pages.
Independent Massage Therapy in Our Office
In addition to the soft-tissue work included in chiropractic visits, Back In Shape also hosts an independent, licensed massage therapist who rents space in our office for standalone massage sessions.
Our massage therapist is an independent, licensed professional who operates their own practice out of our office space. They are not an employee of Back In Shape Chiropractic, and Dr. Segal does not supervise or provide their massage services.
Scheduling and billing for massage sessions are handled separately from your chiropractic care. If you'd like to schedule a session, please call our office at (503) 788-3800 and we'll help direct you appropriately.
